From Fragments to Frames: Why I finally built this website

For years, Instagram has been my creative corner. A place where I shared fragments of my view, small details, soft light, the quiet in-between. And for a long time, that felt like enough.

But lately, I’ve felt the urge to give my visual work a different kind of space. A slower space. One with more air, more depth, where I could share not just what I see, but also why I see it that way.

I’ve been thinking about building a website for years. But to be honest? I looked up to it. I told myself I didn’t have the time, or that it had to be perfect, or that Instagram was “just fine.” But the truth is: I was craving something more intentional, more quiet. Something that felt like a room, not just a scroll.

So here we are. The Slow Frame is the result of that shift. It’s not about showing more, it’s about showing slower. About allowing images to breathe, to perhaps sit next to words and to stand on their own when needed.

This space will evolve. I don’t know yet what all it will become, and that’s okay. What I do know is that it will be a home for the details I find, the stories they carry, and the pauses in between.

Thanks for being here.
Let’s take our time.
